Description
Manuscript sketchbook «Kandinsky 1925» from the «Frozen Motion» series
The first in Ukraine sketchbook with an open binding. The cover features the work «Yellow-Red-Blue» by Vasyl Kandinsky, a great master of abstraction.
An unusual title of the painting, consisting of three colors, Kandinsky emphasizes their importance in the structure of the final artwork. It is worth noting that Vasyl’s non-objective works always had unusual titles, highlighting the absence of a storyline, yet not stripping away semantic depth.
Sticking to the artist’s philosophy, the painter created a complex and mesmerizing geometry, in which form, color, and their relationships give rise to completely different allusions to emotions and actions. For example, red here symbolizes boundless warmth, which within itself conceals a living, dynamic, and meaningful power. Yellow, on the contrary, seems frivolous. Scattered in all directions, it is cooled by the omnipotent blue. Everything stated above is just one of many interpretations of the events. When looking at the painting, everyone will see in it their own patterns and proportions, their own version of movement frozen in time.
80 cream unruled pages are perfect for liners, pencils, and pens. The Manuscript sketchbooks open up to 180 degrees and do not close arbitrarily thanks to the open binding. High-quality stitching and gluing allow them to withstand even extreme loads, and the protective cover coating will extend the service life of your sketchbook. The set includes an insert with grid and ruled lines for convenient writing and constructing graphs, tables, precise models, etc.
Manuscript sketchbooks serve both as a wonderful working tool for artists, designers, programmers, and managers, and as a fashionable accessory capable of inspiring creative feats.
